These are always great characterful chairs that get people talking. This is a beautifully original 18th century French example with a stunning walnut frame and patinated ironwork. The scale is huge making it a great everyday chair or even just placed in a room it will look amazing. The character is what makes this chair so attractive and there is slight warp to the back rest. The ironwork on the recliner is solid but I would advise caution if you intended to use as a fully reclined seat as it is a very old chair at the end of the day and the nails and timber have never been touched and remain original.
