Mirror Outstanding Rare Arts and Crafts Newlyn Manner Matching Fire Kerb C1890

Here we have one of the most outstanding Copper Arts and Crafts mirrors we have ever seen. The quality is such that we are atrributing this to Newlyn. As you can see the colour and patina of the mirror are excellent and the gauge of the Copper heavy. The remarkable thing is that there is also a matching fire kerb and the pair have been together all their lives. The mirror and kerb are fresh to the market and come from a large Arts and Crafts house in Norwich Norfolk. The family having close connections to Newlyn. When the mirror was taken down the original paint on the wall was behind. This mirror is of very large proportions and undoubtedly a one off. It is housed in its original Oak frame and retains the original plate and back boards. Could be hung portrait or landscape. A super example in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 148 cm wide 80 cm high and 3cm deep.
