Description

A stunning pair of antique French walnut bergère armchairs. They were made in France, they date from around the 1900-1910 period.

They are of outstanding quality, with amazing carving and beautiful walnut grain patterns. They are a lovely size and they are very comfortable, with nicely scooped out backs. The arms are beautifully scrolled, they sit on cabriole legs and have double caned panels. The cushions are feather filled and plump, adding to the comfort.

We have had the frame re-polished to a very high standard, they have been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent throughout, with a gorgeous patina to the frames.
