Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
Very well made, originally from the Buckinghamshire area around 1800, stamped by the regional chair maker. The seats are in solid elm and have a line moulding decoration around the edge of the seats, the legs and stretchers are in lovely fruit woods whilst the arched back rests are worked in ash. All four are in superb condition, very sturdy and all are a fabulous original colour.
