Pair of Antique Mahogany and Leather Carver Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

A smart and very well made pair of antique mahogany and leather carver armchairs. They were made in England, and date from around the 1900-1910 period.

They are beautifully made and are of very fine quality. The pierced backs have lovely intricate carving with a wheat sheaf design, they sit on tapered legs with H stretcher bases. The leather upholstery has a beautiful patina, having just been revived by our leather restorer.

We have had these recently re-polished, they are in excellent condition for their age with just some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
