Rams Head Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The sumptuous feather filled cushions are edged with rich fluffy tasselled borders. The bergere work is double caned to the swept arms and the frame has an attractive curved back and stout carved cabriole legs.
This price is for the purchase of the chair only but we also have the matching sofa (photographed here) listed for sale in our other stock items.
The chair measures 74 cms in length 98 cms high by 80 cms deep.The seat is 48 cms high with the cushion measuring 54 cms wide by 60 cms deep.
