A handsome studded leather Gainsborough library chair in nice original condition dating from around 1930.
The burnt orange coloured leather is in excellent order with decorative brass studs to the edging. The solid mahogany frame has reeded detail to the scroll back arms and square legs which are raised on the original brass castors. The frame and upholstery are in good sound condition ready for years more service.
These are solid chair has elegant proportions measuring 1 metre in height 64 cms wide by 70 cms deep overall.
The seat measures 50 cms from the floor and is 52 cms in depth and 55 cms wide between the arms.
