Marylebone Antiques has dated these Regency Rosewood Dining Chairs to the Regency era.
The backs scroll over at the top, the sabre shaped front legs splay forwards beautifully. They are made from solid rosewood which has a gorgeous colour tone and stunning grain patterns.
We have had the frames re-polished to a very high standard, the drop in seats have been re-upholstered in a cream natural cotton fabric. They are in superb condition for their age, with just some minor wear and patina remaining beneath the polish here and there.
