A wonderful set of six antique Regency period rosewood dining chairs, made in England and dating from around the 1815-1830’s.
The quality is outstanding, they have a beautiful design with crisp and intricate carving on the back rests. The backs scroll over at the top, the sabre shaped front legs splay forwards beautifully. They are made from solid rosewood which has a gorgeous colour tone and stunning grain patterns.
We have had the frames re-polished to a very high standard, the drop in seats have been re-upholstered in a cream natural cotton fabric. They are in superb condition for their age, with just some minor wear and patina remaining beneath the polish here and there.
