Description

A fine Regency desk chair in rosewood, of small proportions, the half padded gallery back with a flat shaped top and with showframe front sections with lightly carved scrolling elbows raised on elegant turned baluster supports, over a generous stuffover seat with piped squab cushion and raised on fine cabriole legs, newly upholstered in a pink material with green undertones. English, circa 1820.

Condition: Excellent, the chair is in very good condition with no damage or repairs and is solid and robust, the upholstery is brand new so it is clean and unblemished, the chair is comfortable to sit on. Overall this is a very elegant chair with lovely colour and patina.
