Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The glass has bevelled edges and also has borders of parcel gilt moulding.
The frame is in very good condition, we have just had this re-polished. There is no surface damage to the glass, there is some spotting and wear to the silvered backing here and there, most noticeably at the top of the central section.
