A good 18th century Dutch tobacco box of oval cushion form with a piano hinge.
It has allover engraving depicting domestic scenes from Dutch life with text and gadrooning to both top and bottom edge.
The box is heavy with no dents and in good condition commensurate with age and closes tightly. Circa 1760.
