Jane Short has been an antiques dealer since the 1980s, in South Africa (where she was a key member of the South African Antiques Association - SAADA) and in Central Europe.

Now back in the UK, she has been actively dealing for the last 10 years and has now been joined by her husband, Michael Short. He is an Engineer and supports her with restoration, framing, clock refurbishment and general logistics.
Stock is exhibited at two emporia in Long Melford, Suffolk.

These are the Long Melford Antiques Centre (CO10 9HX) and the Melford Antique Warehouse (CO10 9JA).
The Jane Short Antiques stock ranges from low priced but interesting items of quality to selected pieces in the £2000 - £4000 range from the 17th to mid 20th Century.

It is wide ranging, including early Georgian to mid Victorian and Continental furniture, art, silver and bronze ware, crystal and porcelain, oriental artefacts...
