Two very small early 19thc snuff boxes, beautifully made out of "burr" birch , one with delicate painted line decoration and inlaid roundel....they are both lined with the finest tortoiseshell...both boxes have an exceptional colour and in very good condition....provenance of Brian Hawtin ....avid collector who has a very good eye for the finest pieces of treen. English. C1800-20.
