The upholstered burgundy coloured leather hide seat is trimmed with brass tacks. The seat is supported by the height adjustable, tilting and swivelling, patented mechanism. From which protrudes four legs on ceramic and iron castors.

The mechanism adjusts for height by way of a wheel, and the tilt springs tighten by way of a wheel to restrict the level of incline, The chair freely swivels on the mechanism.
In good condition, reupholstered, serviced, cleaned and waxed, all working and ready for use.

Dimensions:
This chair measures approximately 93.5 cm (36.75") tall currently, at which the seat height is approximately 48 cm (19"). The height can then be adjusted up a further 0.75 cm (0.25") and down 2.5 cm (1"), and therefore adjusts the overall and seat heights accordingly.

The chair width is approximately 59.5 cm (23.5") at the widest point on the arms, and has a depth of 59 cm (23.25"). The seat width is 48 cm (19") between the arms, and 43.5 cm (17.25") deep from the front edge to the back upright.

Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chair is in a very good overall condition. There are some marks and blemishes on the frame, across the back, legs and arm supports, though all are well polished in. There is a small notch at the bottom of the top rail in back missing, possibly a knot in the timber. The seat has been reupholstered, in hand-dyed leather hide, in the traditional method. The mechanism has been fully serviced and works well, with all aspects functioning. The chair has been cleaned and waxed and is very much ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
