Fine quality 19th Century period mahogany library desk chair with horseshoe back.
Circa 1860/1870’s.
Upholstered in brown buttoned leather, with lovely carved mahogany scroll ends on turned legs with castors.
The leather seats look original however they have most probably been upholstered around 60 years ago in wonderful brown leather resting on a central splat with 2 angled carved Mahogony supports and rear splayed legs. The front legs have original brass castors.
The leather is in great condition, with a great patina and loads of character, with no tears.
These chairs have been given a light clean.
