Gillows of Lancaster: A good set of SIX Regency period simulated rosewood, cane-seated dining chairs. The front legs are turned and reeded, with roundels to the front, tapering down to a blunt point. The rear legs are of a plain sabre style. The back rail is bowed with ''acorn'' knopps to each side, and the centre rail is ornately carved with stylised acanthus leaves.
The chairs are in good condition, including all cane seats. Joints are robust. Ready to use.
