Victorian Red Leather Reading Chair

£1,875    $2,375    €2,256
This Victorian red leather reading chair was made circa 1865.

The mahogany frame upholstered in deep buttoned leather to the back and arms and a plain seat.

It has the well carved scroll hand grips and the flowing cabriole legs.

We have reupholstered and recovered this wonderful chair in fine English leather. After recovering this Victorian red leather reading chair in the hide leather, it was then hand dyed before the specialist restorer had the painstaking task of building up the antique finish to make it look as if the leather has been on the chair since day one. The process included dyeing the leather by hand.

Imagine the joy of ownership this Victorian red leather reading chair will bring you and how good it will be to sit back and relax after a hard days work.
