Edwardian Miniature Mahogany Wardrobe

Description

Superb Edwardian miniature mahogany wardrobe in excellent condition. This charming little piece has a shape pediment with the initials B R carved in the centre, a pair of hinged mirrored doors above two short drawers over a long drawers with decorative handles. The whole piece is beautifully made to a high standard with drawers that slide freely. The wardrobe is in good solid condition with some minor historical old marks inline with age and use. It is a fine example of miniature furniture with a great original colour and patina. This miniature wardrobe is either an apprentice piece or perhaps it was commissioned for the owner of the initials either way it is of quality construction, no doubt the work of a skilled cabinet maker. This fabulous item would be perfect for storing jewellery or other treasures or even being used as a make-up box.
