A Very Good Quality Set Of Eight Early 19th Century, Georgian, Regency Mahogany Dining Chairs, Consisting Of Six Singles And Two Armchairs, Having Well Figured Rectangular Top Rails Over Elegant Ribbon Design Horizontal Splats, Over Upholstered Drop In Seats Of Good Bold Proportions, Raised On Elegant Sabre Legs With Square Cross Stretchers.These chairs are constructed from excellent quality mahogany timbers and are of good bold proportions which in combination with the fact they are extremely sturdy means they are very much functional and fit for purpose. Many later regency dining chairs can be a little smaller and tighter in their proportions making them uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time but that is certainly not something which is an issue with these particular dining chairs.Overall the condition is very good with just a few minor, historic repairs, old marks and scratches as one would expect to find on items of this age.
