Georgian Mahogany and Brass Bound Campaign Writing Slope.

Description

A large and impressive late Georgian mahogany military style brass bound writing slope with brass corners and flush inset side handles.

The interior with brass inset corners, two lidded compartments, lift out pen tray with compartment beneath, lock and key for top writing board and bottom board fitted with lattice ribbon for visiting cards and letters.

Original working locks with key for inside writing board.

Size: 20" wide (50.5cm) x 10.3/4" deep (27.3cm) x 7" high (17.8cm)
