Vicky Thomas Antiques has dated this Hammered Copper Log Box to the Edwardian era.
It is fitted to the wooden carcass with copper rivets which form a lovely part of its design. The colour is rich and warm and has a great patina. I have left the box unpolished so that you may decide how you would like it to be displayed.

Standing 57cm tall at its highest point, sloping to 38cm at the front, 51cm wide and 45cm deep.As I'm sure you can imagine, this will hold a great number of logs and fireside bits and pieces - or it would make a really stylish storage box for anything you fancy.

The box is in good antique condition, being extremely strong and sound, and has the surface wear you expect from a well loved piece of this age.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if I can provide any further information or photographs.
I offer free delivery throughout mainland UK, and am very happy to help with quotes for shipping abroad.
