This small but well detailed mirror dates from the late 1800s or early 1900s, most likely the 1800s. It has its original mirror glass which does show signs of it''s age, this has not been changed and is very original. It is really quite amazing how the frame has also retained its originality too with the detail on the frame being in such fantastic condition. This mirror has been in my own house owing to the original condition and great detail but owing to a change around it is now for sale. It is a neat and rather rare size at 49cms wide and 66 high overall. Most being a bit larger. The gilt finish is again good and has only dulled to a more mellow tone owing to its age. Finding a better one for the money and in this kind of condition will be difficult if not impossible we suggest.
