I have various other Howard and Son's armchairs and sofas listed under my other items.
This is a rare chair, it is the original and most collectable model, the Bridgewater, the inside back left leg is stamped 12824 9509 which is the order number and Howard & Son's LTD Berners St, the castors are all stamped Howard & Son's London, however the front ones have been varnished so many times you can't really read it. The frame looks to be Elm or Burr Oak, its hard to see

Howard & Son’s are simply put the finest chair makers in history, the late Queen even had by repute the largest private collection in the world, they were known as makers of the most comfortable seating in the world
