This style is known by many names Smokers Bow, Windsor Chair or Captain’s Chair

A very rare original English Oak and Elm Windsor Carver Chair, all in very good original condition with a natural patina.

The Chair has a large comfortable Saddle seat, turned back spindles and chunky turned legs with a double turned stretcher

The chair dates from the mid 19th century, this is a timeless classic, and unusually made from Oak and Elm

A Great looking and comfortable large chair, all sound with original patina

The chairs is 32” high, 26” wide and 22” deep, the seat height is about 19”
