A charming early 19th century (circa 1830) primitive hoop back ash Windsor child's chair of superb patina, probably Welsh.

This chair consists of a hoop back with eight hand drawn spindles leading down to the solid ash seat, having a superb patina (colour).

The chair is supported by four turned legs, these joined by four turned stretchers.

This chair is in excellent original condition, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home, due to the naivety of the chair we feel it was made in a provincial area, probably in Wales.
