Georgian Yew Wood Tea Chest
Well figured yew wood and burr yew wood within extensive boxwood and mahogany stringing, the lid with silver plated handle of rectangular form, the escutcheon to the front of similar form. Opens to a void interior the lid lined with morocco leather and the interior with marbled paper. With lock and key.

Condition: Great depth of colour to the glorious yew timbers, the lid with an old split to the veneer, a great example well presented.
