Description

A good set of ten (including two carvers) mid 19th century French mahogany dining chairs upholstered in old red hide. A stylish and comfortable set with upholstered backs for additional comfort. These chairs are straight from a recent house clearance and have not been restored. The joints are sound and they are perfectly usable as they are if you like the shabby, antique look. Woodwork is scuffed and faded in places with knocks and bruises as you would expect. Leather is faded, cracked and dried out in places with some small tears and holes. I have photographed ALL the worst areas.

Carvers: 91.5cms high by 56cms wide by 48.5 deep.

Seats are 43.5 high on both carvers and standards.
