Description

A magnificent large antique Victorian carved oak overmantle mirror. The leaf, fruit and cabochon-carved pediment, above a square mirror plate within fluted pilasters. The deeply carved entablature features fruit and a pair of dragons, the mirror plate is bevelled and appears original. A really good quality and impressive mirror.

Construction/Wood:

Oak

Condition Report:

Good condition. Good colour and patina to the oak. Marks and scuffs commensurate with age. Some very slight foxing and loss of silvering in places to the mirror plate.
