Description

A good set of 8 mahogany Regency/William IV Period antique dining chairs including two carver armchairs. The chairs having a curved broad mahogany top rail and with a carved horizontal back support rail, with sabre back legs. Having drop in seats newly re-upholstered in a Zoffany velvet and silk stripe with a rectangular seat rail. Supported on turned front legs. The carver arm chairs slightly larger in scale and with a scrolling arm circa 1830-1840

Dimensions: Armchairs 34" high x 21" wide x 20" deep Stand chairs 34" high x 18" wide x 19" deep (seats 18" high)

Condition: This set of chairs are in beautiful condition, a wonderful colour and patination. Recently re-upholstered in a Zoffany Stripe fabric in our workshops.
