ActFurniture LTD has dated this Edwardian Oak Smokers Cabinet to the Edwardian era.
This is an independent date report produced by Sellingantiques using its own proprietary system. The process uses the photographs shown on this page. The system is never told the date the dealer has declared. This report shows that the two dates corroborate.
The pair of doors with bevelled glass panels over fielded panels open to reveal a fully fitted interior of seven small drawers with stamped brass handles, together with pigeonholes, an open shelf and a central recess.
The quarter-sawn oak displays a stunning figured grain with lovely silvery flashes and a warm, rich golden colour.
Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable smoker's cabinet of compact proportions, perfect for a study, hallway or living room, or as a keepsake or jewellery cabinet.
