This 18th-century English wine glass is fashioned from clear lead glass in the Georgian style. The ogee-shaped bowl features wrythen moulded fluting on its lower third and rests on a stem containing an internal double series opaque twist pattern of white enamel cords and a central lace twist. The stem terminates in a broad conical foot with a rough pontil mark on the underside and age-related wear to the rim. Measuring 14.8 cm high, 7 cm wide, and 5.1 cm deep, the piece weighs 145 g and bears collector stickers beneath the base. Display this wine glass on a sideboard top in an English Country House interior setting. It serves as a decorative drinking vessel suited for vintage table displays or as a cabinet accent among period glassware collections.

A Georgian double series opaque twist wine glass is an eighteenth-century English drinking vessel defined by white enamel canes forming two distinct spiral patterns inside a clear glass stem.

These glasses were created using lead crystal, incorporates white enamel rods inserted into a mould, drawn out, twisted while hot, and encased in clear glass before being attached to a hand-blown bowl and foot.

Authentic pieces exhibit irregularities in the twist pattern, pontil marks or smoothed wear on a conical foot, slight grey or grey-purple tinting in the lead glass, and appropriate age-related base wear.

Antique stemware can be displayed in glazed cabinets, arranged on decorative trays on a sideboard, or grouped as structural accents on bookshelves.

Hand wash individual pieces in lukewarm water using mild detergent, avoid extreme temperature changes to prevent thermal shock, and dry immediately with a soft lint-free cloth.
