Georgian wine glass. Double series opaque twist wine glass with round funnel bowl and plain conical foot English c1765.

Rim dia: 5.3 cm.

Base dia: 7.1 cm.

Weight: 147 grams.

Condition: Very good.

Produced in Britain during the mid-to-late 18th century, opaque twist wine glasses feature internal white enamel threads spiralling within a clear glass stem, created in response to the Glass Excise Act of 1745.
