Sturmans Antiques has dated this George III Oak Nightstand to the Georgian era.
Faux drawer to the base, which originally pulled open to reveal a concealed bed pan, with a shaped apron below the faux drawer and square legs sat to each corner. Presented in excellent condition with original brass ring pulling handles and a rich colour and lovely patina to the wood. A difficult to find oak version, as these items were mostly made from mahogany. Keep up to date via our Instagram channel - sturmansantiques.
