CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with signs of age and use consistent with their history. There is surface wear throughout including age-related marks, scuffs and rubbing to the backs, legs and stretchers. The solid elm seats show areas of historic staining, wear and patination. There is wear and loss to the finish around the feet and some old marks and darkened areas to the hoop backs. There is evidence of historic woodworm in some of the chairs, but this is long gone and has been treated as a precaution. All chairs remain solid, sturdy and usable. A lovely, well-worn example of a traditional set of antique wheelback kitchen dining chairs.
