An antique Victorian upholstered armchair of comfortable proportions, with a gently shaped, button-tufted back and scrolled arms. The chair is raised on shaped legs, with a well-balanced stance and pleasing overall form typical of Victorian seating. The upholstery is finished in a soft pink fabric, which sits well against the warm tone of the mahogany frame. A comfortable, attractive piece.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition overall. The upholstery shows signs of wear and use, including fading to the arms and staining to the seat (pictured). There is also a tear to the right arm (pictured). The frame shows surface wear and small marks consistent with age. General wear to the feet, as expected. The chair is structurally sound and sits well.
