Victorian Mahogany Framed Showcase

Description

Circa 1880. A late Victorian glazed showcase. The double-sided cabinet with sloping tops, with a raised section in the center which is glazed on all sides, the two sloping sides are glazed on the front and top and have water-silk lining on the base, all sitting on a mahogany base, with a simple frieze resting on four substantial turned, ring turned and tapering legs.
