The original one-piece mirror plate is in excellent condition with no signs of fogging or patching. Square shaped at the base and domed at the top.
The rest of the surrounding frame features carved and gilded 'Acanthus' leaves and berries with crossed ribbon pattern.

Maker: L.H. Petit (Paris), established in 1799 operated from the famous Dépôt de Glaces de St Gobain, in Rue St Denis, between La Rue du Cairo and la Rue Reaumur. Makers of luxury mirrors.
