This finely made and attractive Edwardian chair (Circa 1910) has a unique charm, and definitely draws one's eye. Given space, a simple chair of this quality can transform a room, offering an affordable and decorative focal point. It's such a pleasing design, and one which has been refined to cleverly include many appealing features - its twenty-eight spindles that decorate and strengthen its back and arms are perfectly gauged, and its splayed front and swept-back legs, supported by finely turned stretchers with ring-turned decoration, provide the necessary balance both structurally and aesthetically. The lifting handle that is incorporated within the shaped top rail, and the turned pommels make the perfect finishing touches. Its frame is in a really good sound condition, which signified to us just how well it had been looked over the last 100 + years. So, now after being traditionally polished and re-upholstered this arts & crafts-inspired chair is ready to take its place within your period or contemporary interior.
