Vicky Thomas Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
Thonet made famous the process of bending normally brittle woods such as Beech, and his 'bent wood' chairs, are celebrated worldwide particularly the design classic bistro chairs still popular to this day.
The colour is glorious with a golden honey rich back contrasting beautifully with the dark finish of the seat legs and sides.

The chair stands 89cm tall, 37cm across the widest part of the seat and 38.5cm from front to back.
The chair has the gentle surface wear that is to be expected of a well loved item of furniture of this age, but it looks fantastic and would be a wonderful and stylish addition to any home.
Please see the photographs and don't hesitate to get in touch if I can provide any further information or photos.
