Understated elegance would best describe this elbow, or carver, chair, subtly decorated with reeded moulding, ebony stringing and two triple bobbin horizontal splats.
The drop-in seat newly re-upholstered in a small scale chequered fabric.
The mahogany has faded to a very agreeable brown with a good patina.
