The firm of Hille was founded in C.1900 by Salamon Hille.
They produced furniture in a number of revivalist tastes supplying makers such as Hamptons, Maples and Waring and Gillows.

Provenance: Private family collection, Berkshire, sold with catalogue.
Offered in very good condition, some wear and fade to the cushions. very minor old chips, knocks and marks consistent with age. Original caning in good tight condition.
