A George III period, set of six, elm, country dining chairs, Circa 1790. These chairs in Sheraton country vernacular style, constructed in well figured solid English elm. Featuring a squared back with triple stick slats. Drop in seats covered in doubled layered silk blend fabric. Tapered legs, supported by H-stretchers
 
A quality set of charming chairs, well presented with excellent upholstery. Frames with some marks and signs of use, but with good colour, polish and patina, and in good overall condition. Ready for use.

These chairs measure approximately 90 cm (35.5'') tall, 51 cm (20'') wide, and 46 cm (18'') deep. The seat height is approximately 46 cm (18'').
