Description

An early C19th, very well matched set of 6 windsor wheelback dining chairs, dating from the early C19th. These chairs feature a bent hoop back, pierced wheelback splat, flanked by turned spindles. Over a well figured solid elm, saddled seat. Raised on ring turned splayed legs supported by turned H-stretcher. Three are stamped on the rear of the seat, one "TH", two "TB".

A charming set of period chairs, in a good condition and ready for use.

Dimensions:

This chair measures approximately 93 cm (36.5") tall, 46 cm (18") wide, and 46 cm (18") deep. The seat height measures approximately 45 cm (18").

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - These chairs are in a good condition, commensurate with its age, and are structurally sound and sturdy. There are some odd marks, blemishes and signs of use. A chip to the edge of one of the seats. A couple of small quality sympathetic repairs. Good colour, polish and patina. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
