E W Cousins and Son has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
This flanked by scrolled leaf decorated brackets. Interlaced ribbons to the sides and floral decoration to lower rail. The down swept arms having trailing harebell decoration topped with finials above painted panels. The turned front supports decorated with flowers leaves and urn. The caned side panels over cane seat with front rail having raised central urn decorated panel flanked by floral bouquets, the side rails also having floral decoration. Painted medallions above the square tapered legs decorated with trailing harebells and on spade feet.
