Mahogany Campaign Chair

Unusual mid 19th century campaign chair which completely disassembles into seven parts. The legs unscrew, the back can then be removed leaving the seat frame and pad in two parts. The ballon backed chair is attractively carved with turned front legs. Brass locating plates and screws enable the chair to be re-assembled. The seat is covered in a complimentary claret coloured velvet. There is a tear to the calico seat underneath, see images. When assembled the chair is very firm, no wobbles. Seat height 46cm.
