ANTIQUE #SA901530

19th Century Dutch Marquetry Armchair

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Tom Scott Antiques

Very decorative early 19th century Dutch marquetry elbow or carver armchair in solid mahogany, profusely inlaid with floral marquetry throughout the whole chair, including the back so if you are to use the chair as a freestanding occasional chair or as a desk / dressing table chair, it still looks fabulous from the rear.

Very elegant form and I have left it with the current vintage olive green velvet stuff over seat. Comfortable chair but also a great piece of furniture to look at too!

Good solid condition.
