An early Georgian period dining chair, in the country vernacular Hepplewhite style, Circa C1750, George II. Elm frame with peg jointed construction, pleasingly figured throughout. The backs with semi-circular top rail, over pierced variform splat, solid panelled seat, raised on square legs with supporting stretcher all round.
A charming period chair, full of character with attractive aged wear and patina. Ready for use.

This chair measures approximately 98 cm (39'') tall, 50.5 cm (20'') wide, and 48 cm (19'') deep. The seat height measures approximately 45.5 cm (18.5'').

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chair is in a reasonable condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. There are several marks, blemishes and signs of use. A small natural aged separation between the planks in the seats. ...ial aged natural split to the upright/stile, but still sound. Small old repair to the top of the other stile at the joint where it meets the top rail, again sound. A few other small chips and small natural splits to the timbers. Good colour, polish and patina. No loose joints. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
