Description

A set of eight(6 and two arm) Georgian mahogany dining chairs, the backs with having tapered uprights with carved finials on top outside a twin bar centre with moulded panels. Good swept arms with turned supports down to stuff over seats, turned front legs. The chairs are fine quality with great timber and are in original condition throughout, we are attributing them to Gillows- see illustration from the Gillow book of designs 1799..English Circa 1810.

The chairs are very comfortable and the seat height is 46cm(18 ins).
