Description

Fine early 19th century Georgian tobacco or snuff box,c1820. Cast in bronze/brass it is heavy for its size at 0.4kg with lovely decoration to the lid and base . It has a well constructed hinged lid and two internal compartments to hold the contents. The metal has taken on great colour /patina. Overall condition is good with only minor surface rubbing./marks and Verdigris, exactly as you would expect from an old example.
