Description

A late 19th/early 20th century Gothic Revival 'Strawberry Hill' yew & elm Windsor chair.

This example boasts all the features of the original mid-18th century design with arched back and splats, shaped arms on curved supports, dished seat, cabriole legs with pad feet and a crinoline stretcher.

The chair has very light wear commensurate with age but generally remains in an excellent condition throughout.
